See what's quietly broken on your shop

This free checker reads one page of your shop from the outside and lists what's quietly broken: the page title, the share image, anything hiding it from Google, the email signup, the search description and the phone setup.

Paste your address below. I read the page from the outside, the same way a customer's browser does, and tell you what I find in plain English. No signup, no email address, nothing stored. Takes about ten seconds.

Works on any storefront, not just Shopify.

Why most of this goes unnoticed

Everything on this list fails silently. Nothing errors, no dashboard turns red, and the shop just does a little worse than it should for months. That is the whole reason a check like this is worth ten seconds: you cannot go looking for a problem nobody told you about.

This is a quick read of one page. It cannot tell whether your signup form is actually wired to something that sends email, which is the most common fault of all and needs a human look. If you want that one checked properly, send me the link and I'll go through it by hand.

Common questions

What does the free checker look for?

The page title, the image your links show when shared, anything telling Google to ignore the page, whether there's an email signup and where it sends, the description search engines show, and whether the page is set up for phones.

Do I need to sign up or give an email address?

No. Paste the address and press Check it. Your shop's address isn't saved; the only thing kept is a running count of how many checks have been run.

Does it change anything on my store?

No. It reads the public page the same way a customer's browser does. It can't log in and it can't see your admin.

How do I check structured data on my Shopify store?

Paste a product page into Google's Rich Results Test. It shows whether Google can read the product's name, price and availability, and lists any errors. This checker doesn't test structured data; the Shopify SEO checklist on this site covers what to look for.

Can it tell whether a site runs on Shopify, or how much it sells?

No. It's built for owners checking their own shop, not for researching other stores, and it doesn't estimate anyone's sales.
